The 9th annual CHARLOTTETOWN FILM FESTIVAL is happening in Downtown Charlottetown, October 13-15, 2023! From cinema lovers to filmmakers, ChFF23 promises to feature something for everyone. This year’s feature film lineup includes highly anticipated Christian Sparkes film, Sweetland (Winner of Best Atlantic Screenwriting, Atlantic International Film Festival), critically acclaimed documentary, Swan Song (Official selection, TIFF23) selection, unique and bloody love story, Humanist Vampire Seeking Consenting Suicidal Person (Winner of Director’s Award, Venice Film Festival 2023), poignant and urgent documentary Boil Alert (Official selection, TIFF23), and debut dark comedy from Ally Pankiw, I Used To Be Funny (Narrative Feature Grand Jury Award, SXSW 2023).

There will be three SHORT FILM PROGRAMMES featuring twenty short films from across the country, including new films from PEI filmmakers such as Millefiore Clarkes (Evelyn), Logan Fulford (Sea Salt), and Justin O’Hanley (Currie). There will also be a BELL FIBETV1 Showcase highlighting episodes of Maritime-made series created with the support of local cast and crew! We are also introducing the first ever CHARLOTTETOWN FILM FORUM – an industry conference catered toward filmmakers and industry delegates running alongside the festival program. The forum will feature filmmaking panels, one-on-one industry meetings, networking mixers, and community events!

The optimal way to experience the entire festival is to purchase an INDUSTRY PASS for $65 (this includes access to all screenings & industry panels)!

We look forward to enjoying the festival with you, and THANK YOU once again for your support!
