Charlottetown Film Festival

Dedicated to making a vital contribution to film culture on Prince Edward Island, the Charlottetown Film Society is proud to present the 4th Annual Charlottetown Film Festival at City Cinema, running from October 12th to October 14th, 2018.

ChFF18 will again showcase and celebrate remarkable works by filmmakers from the Island and all of Atlantic Canada. But this year we are working with a theme – Life is a Balancing Act.

We are very proud that our Opening Night Gala will mark the Island debut of Mille Clarke’s much-anticipated NFB documentary The SONG and the SORROW –Dedicated to the music and memory of Gene MacLellan.  Not to be missed.

Plus a selection of the freshly-minted Mighty Island Documentaries by our most established filmmakers will reveal unexpected talents and projects of passion right here on PEI.

October 12th to 14th promises to be a memorable weekend, packed full of stimulating and often off-beat films, informing Q+ A with the filmmakers plus friendly receptions literally next door at NEXT DOOR, the official ‘watering hole’ for our 4th annual ‘little film festival of big dreams’ .

It is our big dream that your organization will join us in making ChFF18 a robust success. Please consider these sponsorship opportunities which have access to potential matching funds. Your dollars will go a long way. The Charlottetown Film Society is now a charitable organization and welcomes DONATIONS to support all its efforts, including the purchase of City Cinema.
